Aishwarya Stainton (née Nibhanupudi, born October 25, 1986 in Thiruvananthapuram, Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala, India), better known as Aishwarya Nibhanupudi, is a Indian-American actress and LGBT activist known for her marriage to Crystal Stainton.

Aishwarya was born in Thiruvananthapuram, Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala, India to a Indian father, Naranbhai Byramjee Chandavarkar, and a American mother, Aleisha Megan Rodriguez. Aishwarya's father is of Parsi and Irani descent and her mother is of Afro-Latin American (specifically Brazilian) descent. Aishwarya grew up as her family traveled across the globe. She and Crystal Stainton soon met while Aishwarya was attending elementary school in Chicago and they soon became friends.

She starting acting in 2007 with Jake Sanford's "The Game Kings".

In early 2013, she began dating Crystal, and they married in November 2016.


  • Aishwarya owns a CEI-era Mitzi Mozzarella costume. She loved Mitzi as a kid whenever she and her parents went to a Showbiz Pizza during trips to the United States.
