Aishwarya Stainton (née Nibhanupudi, born Saranyu Chandrakanta Bandyopadhyay on October 25, 1979 in Thiruvananthapuram, Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala, India), better known as Aishwarya Nibhanupudi, is a Indian-born Indian-American actress and LGBT activist known for her marriage to Crystal Stainton.
Aishwarya was born Saranyu Chandrakanta Bandyopadhyay in Thiruvananthapuram, Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala, India in a room in the Mascot Hotel to a Indian mother and a Greek father. Aishwarya grew up as her family traveled across the globe, and often spent 1985 at the recently-reconstructed Spencer Plaza in Anna Salai, Chennai.
Aishwarya began living in America and after her parents were divorced and then killed in a murder-suicide, she took their belongings, and was adopted by bisexual and lesbian Indian-American love partners and renamed to her current name. She and Crystal Stainton soon met and became friends.
She starting acting in 2007 with Jake Sanford's "The Game Kings".
In early 2013, she began dating Crystal, and they married in November 2016.
- Aishwarya owns a CEI-era Mitzi Mozzarella costume. She loved Mitzi as a kid whenever she and her parents went to a Showbiz Pizza during trips to the United States.
