Green Slugs in the Yellow Bag is a 1999 American computer-animated comedy film produced by Geo Animation Studios and distributed by Paramount Pictures. The film was released on Tuesday, November 2, 1999 in the United States and Canada. The film starting the voices of Seth Green, Tom Kenny, Will Smith, and Ruairi Robinson. The film was directed by Chris Jones and produced by Seth Green and Jake Sharratt. It was the last Geo Animation Studios project to be released in the 1990's.

The film was first announced in August 1996 as Slugs, Green Slugs in the Yellow Bag was the first Geo Animation Studios film to have an entirely non-human cast. In 1997, after the release of Greenuts 2: the 2nd Film Begins, Hector was originally set to be voiced by Jake Sharratt, but he was producing the film. Instead, the character was voiced by Seth Green.

The film was fully produced at the Canadian studio "Geo Lix FX", which was the animation department of Lix FX which was acquired by Geo Animation Studios in the summer of 1998.

The film was originally set for release on October 23, 1998, then moved up to June 30, 1999. The film was later pushed to November 24, 1999 to avoid competition with South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. By October 1998, the release date was changed to November 2, 1999 to avoid competition with Toy Story 2.
