WN is a EDM band founded and lead by Kiwi-born American musician and animator Michael "Slimeo" Christchurch, with an official lineup consisting of him and musician and drag queen Gene Michaels as DJ's and multi-instrumentalists, accompanied on tour by keyboardists Jake Wrzesiński and AA Michaels, multi-instrumentalist Cuyahoga Anderson, keytarist Maggie Stainton, bassist Leonardo Tobar, guitarist Umeko Izumikawa, and drummer Kendall Stainton. They have also collaborated with Pendulum, Nine Inch Nails, Aphex Twin, Knife Party, Sub Focus and many more artists. WN is currently signed to Atlantic Records, Big Beat, EVOLVE Records, and RAM.
WN was founded in 2004, with the current touring lineup joining members Slimeo and Gene Michaels shortly after. Their first full concert was at a talent show at the Mt. Hope Church in Lansing, Michigan, United States.
WN then traveled to Chicago, and began working on the song "Begin" at Greenyworld Recording Studios, which would be released that same year on Warner Bros. Records.
